The washing machine spins. The dishwasher is buzzing. There was a leftover party for dinner. Last night in Italy this month. Pasta with a sauce of parmesan, garlic, pine nuts and chilli. A small piece of dark chocolate afterwards had to sum up another wonderful week in my Italian house. Today I prepared for the next trip. I love coming here and knowing that the bed is clean, all the laundry is folded and put in the cupboards. Wine and water and coffee refilled because 9.5 times out of 10 I'm down here in Borgon late late. The rubbish is sorted, the office is collected. All orders placed. It was a very good and super productive work week. That's what happens when you get to be creative 24/7. . I have experienced both spring and a fine-tuned start to summer. You know that feeling when it kind of doesn't get quite dark. You can do as much as you like. And yet it feels like you've been on holiday. I sit outside tonight with a blanket around me and sum up the minutes, the hours, the days. My Italian life. As I dreamed about it. And now it's real. At least one week a month. Next month at least two. . The next time I come here, Marco has helped me with the garden and planted two lemon trees. Life is now and of course I will be greeted by lemon flowers here at home. . Tomorrow I'll be back in our wonderful Österlen and then it's time to take a boy's day about the glories of Easter. See you on Friday at Reuniongården? We are re-inaugurating our cafe in our flagship store and all the outdoor furniture is polished. It will be a fantastic weather weekend in Österlen ♥️ m.
