DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

Yesterday I stopped mid-step at our warehouse and looked around.
Five fantastic women worked concentratedly with deliveries, deliveries, unpacking, picking, packing.
I smiled in amazement.
Admired their diligence and dedication to the task.
Unpacking and unpacking our own SOULSISTER collection for all of you out there ♥️
It struck me what a fine company this has become.
That all the hard work, all the blood and all the tears have shaped us into the people and the company we run together today, in the middle of nowhere.
With passion and awareness and presence 24/7. And we have done well.
Hard work with just looking ahead has paid off. January was almost doubled compared to last year.
We continue to be a safe employer and a nice workplace for 17 lovely people.

In the midst of all this work, I have managed to get through a sad divorce.
The sadness that was as black as the night in November December slowly begins to blur the edges and let the light in again.
Light is the answer to so much. The light and the inner music. Now I'm starting to hear my samba rhythms again.
Quietly and carefully, but they penetrate the mourning work and color my days in gentle pastel.
Maybe it's that I'm a little more focused on my job when I have to work on myself to not fail.

If I could sit down and talk to each of you for a moment, I would say to you and you and you… take your time.
Be true to yourself. Take care of your days.
Don't waste your time. Do everything you dream of. NOW.
We have put life on PAUSE for over two years. It's over now.
Do what you long for. New times need new patterns and new ways. Difficult? Very difficult. And great. And great fun.

In a week I will be back in my beloved house on the hill in Tuscany.
There I will do great deeds. And small deeds. And enjoy the warmth of the spring sun against the stone wall.
