Hi Lisa!

Can you tell us a little about yourself and your background?

Well, where to start? I love people, have always done which of course has brought me to the service industry.
I started working in a restaurant already as a 14 year old in my hometown Varberg, after which I have worked at restaurants in Melbourne, London and Stockholm. It was when I lived in Stockholm that my interest in fashion came to life and I started studying fashion science.
Interest in the best wine for the starter was replaced with the best fit on the raw jeans and the perfect t-shirt in brushed cotton. In addition to my fashion science studies, I am a trained yoga teacher and human ecologist and are passionate about helping both the planet and the people.

My aesthetic vein I have from my mother who is an artist and my dad who both danced and been a musician. After completing my education in human ecology at Lund University, I started working full time at Reunion.
First, I was extradrawing in the store and teased products together with Jossan, our e-commerce manager that you read about last week, and then it was built on with newsletter webshop, live shopping, graphic profile, and model photography. Great fun!

What does a typical working day look like?

I just like everyone else in Reunion Crew really has no typical day that you already know by this team. Every day looks different for us depending on what we have for planned mailings, photography, live shopping, fashion shows and more. But I usually come to the office on Tessin's road 9 at 09 Mon-Fri after a slow walk through the park with the dogs, a habit I refuse to thumb on whatever the day looks.
Then we usually start the day with a morning meeting where we plan for the day/week. Then it is almost always me who becomes the coffee suck first and provides the team with the morning coffee.
Then it can be a plate in progress, delivery of products, mailing of newsletters or some other fun that I devote myself to during the day. Just calling the job multi -faceted would be an understatement, we always have fun new projects waiting around the corner, under the carpet and in the locker room!

What do you like most about your job?

I mainly like the people I work with and meet every day as well as the days when we are out shooting at other locations such as the Dahliaframe or in the yard.
I get super energy from being in the store and meeting the customers and talking. Then is it no surprise that I love when Maria has been Italy and comes home with news?
Feels fun to work in a family business where everyone knows everyone and where we are super flexible for change.

How do you describe the company's culture and work environment?

Reunion Can probably be perceived as a big company with everything we take for, but I love the family feeling. We laugh very much at the office. Abbe who is our closest manager
(and my partner) in Malmö and Maria always make sure we work against our personal and business goals in a fun way.
We always have at least two dogs in the office and there is always coffee and bray for the staff! Definitely one of my best workplaces ever!

What are your interests outside of work?

Yoga is my biggest interest, as I said, I am training yoga teacher in Vinyasa and are currently educating me within Ashtanga which is a little more physically challenging. In addition, I love long dinners, walks, cold baths, to dance with Abbe in the kitchen and cook, paint and pill with plants. Got a note from Spotify on my annual summary that I am one of them 2% on Spotify who listen most haha .. Always have music or podcasts on if I don't listen to an audiobook.

What is your favorite food?

Anything that is Mexican! Like with lots of green salsa on! Have you tried it? DELICIOUS! But overall is always the sauce the most important thing? Nothing is good without sauce ...

What is the most memorable thing you have experienced in life?

One of the most fun and scariest I've done was when I moved to London myself at a 21 year old.
In the beginning it was horrible, anxious and lonely but so slowly the pieces lay in place. I got a job at a super restaurant in the middle of the batter and after rewinding various hostel for two months I moved to a collective with fantastic girls who had all broken away from their own existence to live London life.
The very essence of the experience goes briefly to bake to dare to dare even if it feels scary now and maybe it will be for a while to come. The universe has a very special and nice way to straighten things up even when it seems that everything went to the beep and not at all as you imagined.

Most often, the new way, it is believed that it is more crooked, tougher and longer, far much better than the one you have staked out.
