STOCKHOLM, ITALY & THE EAST ROUND AND RETURN

What a week!
A normal week in the life of an entrepreneurial CEO is probably a handful for most people. Even for me, last week was in the toughest team.
The spring season got off to a flying start and I really needed to be in so many places at the same time. So far I haven't found the key to clone myself but surely that would be a future solution...
All of us on Team Reunion split up to get everything in place. Abbe and Lisa went to Stockholm to build the Formex fair one day in advance. I got there a day later and helped finish the build so we were ready to receive our customers on Tuesday.

While the fair was going on, we were waiting for deliveries from all over the world to our new environments at Reunion Farm. I tried to contact all the suppliers to time the deliveries until after the fair. A little less "hell"... but I think I succeeded because I didn't hear that there are mountains of cardboard boxes at the entrance to Reunion Farm..
While the show was in progress, our warehouse packed incoming orders from both our corporate web and our consumer web. In addition, we launched a new international dealer website on Tuesday for Soulsisters the brand...At the same time as we received the customers at the fair. What a team! What stars! Everything took place over digital meetings at the same time as we held customer meetings at the fair.
Last Wednesday evening I left the team in Stockholm to go to production in Italy. Short fast trips with full focus. Stockholm-Sturup, Copenhagen-Munich, Munich-Florence. Everything went smoothly except that there was not a single minute to stuff me with food.
Once in Tuscany, I threw myself into a rental car for the first meeting of three on Thursday. In addition, I was expected to attend a representative dinner in the evening... I can admit that I had a headache from hell because I had not eaten or slept more than marginally for the past 24 hours. But the dinner was lovely and the food was so welcome into my system.
Same pace last Friday as well as an insanely good representative lunch in Andrea Bocelli's village of Lajatico and a couple of secret adventures on top of that.

On Saturday, I finally summed up the entire fair that ended on Friday and juggled and ran between the three factories that were ready for all orders to be able to produce quickly and well. And besides, I got the new Soulsisters collection from the hands of the fourth factory. It will be fun and lively and lovely and really, really wonderful!
Times are tough even in Italy and our orders are extremely warmly welcomed. Many producer families are having a tough time when the world holds its breath. That's why it feels extra good that our colorful, beautiful, hopeful collections were so popular for so many stores around Scandinavia. In a few weeks we will send all these loving brave cool styles to about a hundred stores that can hang the spring from Reunion and Soulsisters in their stores. The collections are already hanging at Reuniongården and can be found on our website for those of you who want to fill your wardrobe with whoa!

The coming week will be busy at home. And besides, I probably need to put my hands in a dough or two to create the "mythical" biscuits and crunch for the Reunion BREAD.
To manage to capture the joy and creativity during such a crazy week as the last one is a circus act in itself. Maybe I'll reveal the secret eventually. If we had been able to sell that power and will in a can, we would have been multimillionaires by now 🤭 But I can say that with amazing people around me and with my enormous love for Italy, you will go a long way.
The weather in Italy changed from hail and snow when I landed, to flashes of sunshine and a Friday with bright blue skies. The car was completely frozen on my hill the night between Thursday and Friday. Just like at home. The lemon trees were a little hesitant about the frost and Marco was a little worried if they would make it. But they made it through last winter so I hope they are hardened. I brought home some lemons. They were very tough. Maybe deep-frozen…
My cat family came running out to meet me from my warm secret cozy rooms under the house and I was very warm to the heart. They are smart my feline friends. Why live up the hill on the farm that definitely does not offer warmth under the roof of an old soft Indian blanket. They had thick, fine winter furs and talked into each other's mouths. I poured the rest of the cat food I had left in their box and we sisterly shared a parmesan cheese that was in the fridge.
As I love the little ones.
And yes, I forgot... I also had time to start the project "Reunion turns 20"... there will be many fun events when the spring sun has stabilized there in May, we think... Stay tuned...
New week. New opportunities. Love w. ♥️
